Walk, hike and run on ice like it's dry ground. Yatta Life Ice Spikes stretch over your shoes or boots in seconds. Stainless steel teeth bite into ice and packed snow, so icy sidewalks, frozen trails and winter hikes stop feeling risky.

Why you'll love them

  • Serious grip: 15 mm stainless steel spikes on welded stainless chains hold on hard ice and packed snow.
  • Built for Canadian winters: The TPR elastomer harness stays stretchy and is tested down to –40 °C, so it won't stiffen or snap in the cold.
  • On and off in seconds: Pull the toe on, stretch the heel back, and go. No straps or buckles to fiddle with.
  • Fits most footwear: Hiking boots, winter boots, running shoes and everyday sneakers.
  • Rust resistant: Stainless steel spikes and chains hold up season after season.
  • Lightweight: 300–340 g per pair depending on size, so you'll barely notice them.

Made for

Winter hiking and snowshoe trails · trail running on packed snow · icy sidewalks, driveways and parking lots · ice fishing · dog walks · commuting through freeze-thaw season

Not designed for technical mountaineering or vertical ice climbing. Use rated mountaineering crampons for that.

FAQ

Can I wear them on concrete or indoors?
Take them off before going inside or walking on long stretches of bare pavement. Hard floors are slippery under metal spikes, and bare concrete wears the teeth down faster.

Will they fit my winter boots?
Yes. The harness stretches over most boots. For bulky or insulated boots, choose the next size up.

Are they good for running?
Yes. They're light and flexible enough for trail running on packed snow and ice.
